Founded in 1998, iBAHN® is the only global provider of IP platform-based solutions for the hospitality and meeting industries.

Ted Helvey

Chief Executive Officer

Ted Helvey was appointed Chief Executive Officer in August 2013 and brings over 30 years experience leading, building and advising growing companies. He has applied his technical and business acumen to alleviate and overcome the many challenges faced by companies in a highly-competitive, consumer-driven, ever-evolving marketplace. This marks a return to iBAHN for Helvey, who served previously as Vice President of Online Services from 1999-2001. Helvey’s experience also includes leading business development and strategic alliances at Internet pioneer Netcom Online Communications. Helvey’s technology career began in software and systems development, including leading an award-winning ERP systems company which pioneered Internet-enabled client/server software. His technology industry work includes senior-level dealings with companies such as Cisco, Microsoft, HP, AOL, and Apple, and he served as chairman of the Apple Business Consortium. Helvey received his Bachelors degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.

 

Matt Mitchell

Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing

Matt Mitchell joined iBAHN in 2009, most recently serving as Managing Director of iBAHN’s Asia Pacific region. He brings more than twenty years of experience in the broadband, telecommunications and hospitality industries and has a broad range of business experience, ranging from responsibility for global sales management to operations. For the eight years prior to joining iBAHN, Mr. Mitchell served at inter-touch, a provider of broadband Internet services in roles including Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, Sales; and Vice President of Global Operations. Additionally, Mr. Mitchell served in various customer service and sales and marketing roles including five years in Hong Kong at 3Com where he was successful in establishing the company’s Asia Pacific Customer Service organization and in building a direct sales force focused on large government and corporate enterprise customers.

 

Neil Williams

Senior Vice President Global Products & Systems

Neil Williams has been a member of iBAHN's Management Team since 2007and is responsible for iBAHN’s product strategy, development, network architecture and security, technical design standards and corporate IT systems. Prior to joining iBAHN, Mr. Williams held positions in global network, IT operations and software development with Cable & Wireless PLC, the UK Government and previously a major UK financial institution. He holds an undergraduate degree from Kings College, University of London, England and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, England.

 

Kevin Anthony

Senior Vice President Global Service & Support

Kevin Anthony joined iBAHN in March 2004 as the General Manager of Professional Service bringing with him more than 20 years of management and operations experience in the telecommunications, logistics and manufacturing industries. The majority of those years were spent leading and developing his organizational teams through periods of constant change including M&A activities. Most recently, he was Vice President of Operations for iBAHN’s Americas Region. Mr. Anthony has developed and managed organizations in both the startup and large corporate environments, including High Speed Access Corporation, a publicly traded HSIA provider, and Tele-Communications Incorporated (TCI), who at the time was the largest cable services provider. Mr. Anthony obtained his MBA with an emphasis in Operations Management from the University of North Carolina and his BSBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Florida.

 

Ryan Johnson

CFO and Senior Vice President Global Business Operations

Ryan Jonson has been at iBAHN since 2002, when he joined as company controller. He was appointed CFO a decade later and now assumes full responsibility for all global business operations. Jonson previously held operational and financial leadership positions in the technology field. Mr. Jonson holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah and an MBA. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
