Chief Technology Officer
Tom Duke joined iBAHN as its Chief Technology Officer in May 2008. Prior to his new role at the company, Duke served as chief technology officer for nearly five years at Memex Technology, where he was instrumental in the development and delivery of real time data management tools. Additional experience includes serving as director of engineering at Sopheon (formerly Orbital), and several years in consultative roles at Andersen Consulting. Following stints as Eastbourne College and Cambridge University, Duke earned a B.Eng. with honors in mechanical engineering.
Graeme Powell
Managing Director, EMEA
Mr. Powell joined iBAHN in March 2000. Prior to joining iBAHN, he worked for Nomura’s Principal Group for a year and, from February 1993 until April 1999, for Thorn in a variety of positions including four years with Quadriga (Thorn’s supplier of in-room technology to the hospitality industry); most recently as financial controller. In addition, Powell trained as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte Haskins and Sells (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and worked for them from September 1986 until January 1993. He is a member of the Advisory Board for both Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC) and International Hotel Investment Forum (IHF). Mr. Powell holds a BSc. (Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Roger Crellin
President, The Americas
Roger Crellin joined iBAHN in early 2011 and serves as President, Americas. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of the Americas region. He focuses on engaging with iBAHN’s customers at an executive level and on the ongoing development of the company’s industry leading service standards. Crellin’s deep technology and hospitality experience includes serving as chief operating officer and managing director at Acentic, a European competitor of television and broadband systems, for nearly six years. During this highly successful tenure, Crellin was responsible for the company’s European financial, operations, sales and marketing performance across seven subsidiaries and over twenty territories. In this period he successfully expanded the company’s European sales and operations distribution throughout Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa.
Matt Mitchell
Managing Director, Asia
Joining iBAHN in 2008, Matt Mitchell brings more than twenty years of experience in the broadband, telecommunications and hospitality industries. He has broad range of business experience, ranging from responsibility for global sales management to operations. For the eight years prior to joining the company, Mitchell served at inter-touch, a provider of broadband Internet services in several global markets in roles including executive vice president, sales; chief operating officer, and vice president of global sales and marketing. Additionally, he was closely involved in the sale of the company to NT DoCoMo in 2004. Mitchell spent four years at 3Com in its Australia and Hong Kong offices, where he was successful in establishing the company’s customer service organization in building a direct sales force focused on large government and corporate customers. Mitchell attended MacQuarie University, where he participated in the Macquarie Advanced Management Program, as well as its Marketing Management Program.
